Former Nexthink, Hewlett-Packard executive will spearhead continued growth of
the industry’s most innovative observability provider
BOSTON and TEL AVIV, Aug. 13, 2024 — Logz.io — provider of Open 360™, the industry’s most easy-to-use, cost-efficient observability platform — today announced the appointment of Mary Beth Vassallo as Vice President of Global Sales. Based at Logz.io’s Boston headquarters, Vassallo will lead the company’s worldwide sales team, driving all go-to-market efforts and overseeing the expansion of customers and staff.
Mary Beth brings over two decades of sales and go-to-market management experience to Logz.io. She most recently served as North America’s Vice President and General Manager at Nexthink, where she led significant growth, increasing Annual Recurring Revenue from $2 million to $100 million within six years.
Previously, Vassallo held the position of Vice President of software sales for the Application Delivery Management business unit at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Her career also includes executive sales leadership roles at Blue Coat Systems, Voltaire, Brocade, and EMC.
“As cloud applications and infrastructure continue to evolve, observability must adapt to ensure today’s engineering teams can focus on driving innovation and customer satisfaction, not chasing alerts,” Vassallo said. “Logz.io has a strong leadership position in both AI-powered observability and observability data and cost management. We will continue to lean into those areas, and many others, to help our customers meet and exceed their goals.”
Vassallo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Syracuse University and began her career in software development and IT operations. This technical foundation provides her with a unique perspective on Logz.io’s customers’ needs. Vassallo’s educational and professional background positions her well to lead Logz.io’s global sales efforts, as she can bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business value, ensuring that Logz.io’s solutions align closely with customer needs and expectations.
“We’re extremely excited to welcome Mary Beth to the Logz.io team as we continue to advance the industry’s most innovative approach to observability — transforming the lives of our customers,” said Tomer Levy, CEO and cofounder of Logz.io. “With a proven track record of empowering software companies to elevate their business and sales organizations, we’re thrilled to have her leading our team into the future.”
