BOSTON & TEL AVIV, Israel–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Logz.io, the leading cloud-native observability platform for modern DevOps teams, today announced their partnership with HashiCorp, the leader in multi-cloud infrastructure automation software. The partnership brings together two open source leaders to help engineers scale and simplify observability for their environments, allowing for faster and more efficient development of their cloud native applications.

Striking a balance between securing cloud workloads and enforcing policies, while also providing fast response and continuous access to all authorized entities is a priority for DevOps and DevSecOps engineers. Logz.io’s partnership with HashiCorp was developed to help open source-oriented engineering teams overcome this challenge and ensure that security access control and enforcement does not sacrifice performance and user experience.

Where HashiCorp offers a solution to help secure, store and tightly control access to tokens, passwords, certificates and encryption keys with its HashiCorp Vault offering, Logz.io’s Cloud Observability Platform helps organizations monitor and troubleshoot their production environment to ensure security and performance. The partnership will help DevOps and DevSecOps teams scale and automate development and deployment processes while mitigating risk and resolving incidents faster and more effectively.

“Empowering the DevOps and open source communities is central to our vision as an organization,” says Shahar Kodraty, Director of Technology Alliances at Logz.io. “By partnering with HashiCorp, we’re enabling engineers to simplify and accelerate application delivery and response to production issues. The ability to correlate inputs from a multi-cloud, distributed environment with insights covering their organization’s development, operations and security POVs, will provide our users with a holistic view of their entire CI/CD delivery process.”

As part of the partnership, Logz.io has developed a Vault integration, which enables DevOps and DevSecOps engineers to use ELK and Prometheus-compatible solutions on a single, fully-managed platform while seamlessly managing their classified credentials and storing them safely. This integration helps users monitor Vault and enables them to be alerted of any specific events such as elevated permission changes or high-availability reconfiguration.

“We are pleased to have Logz.io added as a partner for HashiCorp Vault. The integration that was developed allows customers using Logz.io to have better visibility into their environment through audit logs from Vault,” said Asvin Ramesh, Director, Technology Alliances, HashiCorp. “We look forward to working together with Logz.io.”

Logz.io and HashiCorp customers will also benefit from additional integrations as the two companies accelerate their plans for strengthening this ecosystem. In addition to the integration with Hashicorp Vault, engineers can now create, manage and update infrastructure resources using Logz.io’s HashiCorp Terraform provider and monitor the distributed services by ingesting metrics from HashiCorp Consul agents.
