Vice President, Business Development

The Vice President, Business & Corporate Development will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to develop opportunities that expand our suite of solutions as well as market reach. In this role you will need to be a visionary, planning for the future growth and scale.
What You'll Do:Lead strategic partnership and corporate development efforts.Build, expand and maintain the relationships and partnerships with Strategic Alliances and Technology Partners such as, AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM, VMware and others.Scout for potential acquisition target to help grow the companies product portfolio as well as GTM reach.Secure executive-level introduction meetings with top executives from targeted technology partners.
What We're Looking For:10+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A.Experienced in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting is preferred.Product or technical background is strongly preferred.Experience in the observability, SIEM, DevOps, Developer tools is strongly preferred.Pre-existing relationship network with leading ISVs and with Silicon Valley companies strongly preferred.High-Level understanding of Cloud Platforms, DevOps tool chains, and Container Technologies.Experience partnering with public cloud providers.Experience working remotely away from HQ is an advantage.Experience building relationships with relevant strategic partners.Strong command of the M&A processes, including strategic evaluation, negotiation, structuring, due diligence and execution.Ability to present, articulate, and defend analysis with key stakeholders.Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent relationship building and negotiation skills.Passionate about big challenges
