About Logz.io

Logz.io is looking for an exceptional Senior Web Developer that will join our Studio team and be responsible for the website (both front and backend) and take part in building Logz.io's digital presence and brand. As the Senior Web Developer, you'll play a key role in promoting Logz.io's mission of offering the best of breed open source observability tools, at scale, for thousands of users across the globe.

Responsibilities-

  • Develop and manage our digital assets: website, blog, paid acquisition landing pages, personalization tools, emails, external web assets, and out-of-the-box projects
  • Join the creative team and work closely with product marketing, designers, and growth marketing managers to build and optimize our marketing funnels
  • Maintain and improve website performance (bugs, page speed, mobile responsiveness, etc.) and quality assurance
  • Integrating with our product, 3rd party web-apps & extensions and integrating with 3rd party APIs
  • Have a proactive approach to testing and reviewing your own code
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting the performance of the live website
  • What we are looking for-

  • An organized coder with a vast knowledge of logic and coding languages, that can swiftly understand design requests, project deadlines and manage its own pipeline
  • A strong believer of teamwork and success through collaboration
  • Developer with a strong “design” eye, that can provide feedback to design files and deliver near-ready versions for QA
  • Always curious about the latest trends in web development and committed to constant self-improvement
  • A results-driven professional with excellent organizational skills 
  • Adept at multitasking and handling multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines
  • Requirements-

  • Portfolio showcasing a wide spectrum of creative work 
  • 3+ years proven track record in developing and maintaining websites using WordPress: theme and plugin development, custom post types & taxonomies - must have
  • 2+ years of front-end web development experience - must have
  • Expert knowledge of Javascript (ES5 and above) & PHP, HTML5, CSS, SCSS
  • Proven experience interacting with APIs, JSON, & XML - advantage
  • Experience with Marketing tracking tools (Marketo, Amplitude, Ad Platforms) - Big plus
  • Experience with React, Redux -  Big plus
  • Experience with headless CMS - Big plus
  • Experience working with large design systems
