Open source use is growing rapidly and so is Logz.io.  As a Sales Development Representative, you are the hunter. Our SDRs work to generate qualified prospects, expand on leads generated from marketing, and are heavily working to identify new opportunities. Our Sales Development program will lay the foundation and equip you with all the necessary tools to build a successful career in technology sales. In this role you will:

  • Master Logz.io’s target market, business drivers and strategies so that you can develop, intrigue, and position Logz.io products as a value add solution with prospects
  • Reach out to and follow up with respondents from a variety of marketing programs to initiate conversation, learn current business programs and qualify potential business application
  • Leverage and master best-in-breed marketing technology.
  • Execute the necessary daily activities as set forth by management, including phone calls and emails at a high quality to meet your monthly goals
  • Identify key targets in our database and initiate contact with appropriate prospects, leveraging research resources to create intrigue, assess their current business methods and position Logz.io’s solutions
  • Nurture and manage leads until they are qualified as sales-ready
  • Leverage all contacts to identify other prospects through referrals
  • Identify decision makers and company goals to position Logz.io appropriately
  • Track all activity thoroughly in our CRM system to support account and management teams, validate activity and lead qualification reports, and provide ISR with solid prospect background on role, need and intrigue to ensure high-quality prospect transition into the sales process
  • Identify potential opportunities and transition leads to ISR’s by proactively setting up sales appointments for further qualification discussions
  • Meet weekly with the Director of Global Sales Development surrounding forecasting, ongoing enablement, prospecting techniques/strategies, etc. 
  • Work cross functionally with key stakeholders within the business to ensure go-to-market strategy alignment
  • You must have:

  • 0-3 years of experience, Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Communication preferred 
  • Motivated by a career in technology sales
