Director of Product Marketing

As’s Director of Product Marketing, you’ll have the unique opportunity to grow and scale the Product Marketing function. You should be hands-on and innovative, with high growth B2B SaaS experience. The Director of Product Marketing will present our products in ways that tell our unique story in a simple and differentiated way.  In this role you will oversee the product marketing team, developing go-to-market and content strategies for the organization’s products. You will Articulate the strategic “big picture”, whilst being hands-on with the finer detail of product proposition research, design, validation, analysis, delivery and management. In this role you will provide coaching and direction for your direct reports and ensure they can operate effectively by utilizing and complying with the organization’s product marketing best practices.  The Director of Product Marketing will help distill and communicate our positioning and value proposition, then work collaboratively across the company to align the entire team around it.


  • Oversee’s product portfolio Go-To Market strategy, planning and execution
  • Work with the Product team and the Sales team to translate the product and capabilities into customer value. Translate this value into messaging that can be used across the organization
  • Drive portfolio marketing direction, collaborating with brand marketing, corporate marketing, and demand gen and field marketing teams
  • Develop deep understanding of the buying audience, target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process for the our products
  • Conduct quantitative analysis on market potential, customer usage data, feature testing
  • Lead market segmentation and targeting, product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience
  • Develop the competitive positioning for the product portfolio
  • Support sales and market through sales tools, training and market expertise to ensure their ability to effectively position and sell our products
  • Liaise with customer marketing teams to develop customer references and drive retention, upsell and cross-sell of the product portfolio
  • Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to guide the product marketing team in its day-to-day activities
  • Assist in the development and optimization of customer communications
  • Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing with 4+ years of management experience, with an emphasis on team leadership in a director level position
  • You have 5+ years in high growth B2B SaaS with deep expertise in product marketing and a track record of helping businesses stand out in crowded markets
  • You’re results-oriented and know how evaluate, prioritize, double down on, and cut product marketing activities to improve the results of our effort
  • You’re able to coordinate across many teams and perform in a fast-moving organization
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications
  • Proven track record in building, getting buy-in and executing marketing plans, in a fast-paced, business-oriented environment
  • Team player; ability to work cross-functionally, great communication & presentation skills
