The VP of Security Go To Market (GTM) is a highly visible and critical role reporting to our CTO. It will provide a leadership opportunity with executive level sponsorship for developing and leading Logz.io’s Cloud SIEM go-to-market strategies, deployment and post-sales activities. With a thriving SIEM business approaching 100 customers today, Logz.io is doubling down to accelerate growth and bring new security solutions to market.   This person will build collaborative internal and external relationships to align Logz.io’s Cloud SIEM solution with market and customer requirements and to create innovative approaches to advance companies’ security with our expertise and guidance. This includes understanding and working with the ecosystem of security solutions, along with integrating security solutions into the Logz.io offering.   This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to both grow revenue and integrate the Cloud SIEM product into the core strategy for Logz.io to advance companies’ security.   • Drive sales and product strategy for the Security product.
  • Provide leadership to pre- & post-sales teams to achieve customer and business results including engagement quality, revenue growth, and margin.
  • Develop and continuously strengthen the Logz.io Cloud SIEM strategy and supporting offerings to deliver improved security results for companies creating or optimizing their security programs.
  • Grow and drive new GTM models based on market needs, particularly in cloud security and to support Logz.io Cloud SIEM strategy.
  • Maintain an expert understanding of the Security market for both technology and services and track and respond to emerging security practices and needs.
  • Build and foster excellent relationships with key stakeholders, maintaining alignment across teams including Sales, Marketing, Product and other Customer Success teams.
  • Present to and engage with prospects, customers, and the security community at large, including C-level executives, both to continue to inform and strengthen our security practice and to drive awareness.
  • Lead and support Logz.io internal team by tooling, training, and creating processes to be successful in delivering high-quality results for customers
  • Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cyber or information security consulting and/or managed. services, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Experience selling security solutions.
  • Experience with Cloud SIEM.
  • CISSP/ CISM certifications a plus.
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills with proven executive-level engagement and coaching.
  • Commitment to speaking and/or contributing content at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
