As Product Marketing Manager, Security at Logz.io, you’ll have the unique opportunity to expand and accelerate the Product Marketing function as a highly valued member of our rapidly growing team. You should be ready to jump in, learn on the fly and contribute immediately as we accelerate our efforts to create an unrivaled demand for our high growth B2B SaaS platform. In this role you will contribute directly to our developing product marketing, go-to-market and content strategies for the organization’s products - specifically it's emerging Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM) solution, one of the few cloud-native SaaS solutions available today. Significant emphasis will be placed on translating technical topics into easily consumable messaging and content used to create awareness and drive sales of our unique solutions built on the foundations of open source and community.  You will also have dedicated responsibilities working in partnership with our world-class engineering team as we contribute to the company’s evolving product roadmap. The Product Marketing Manager, Security will help articulate and broaden our SIEM positioning and value proposition, then work collaboratively across the company to communicate it to the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Marketing, Product and Sales teams to translate security product strengths and capabilities into customer value. 
  • Developing a deep understanding of the buying audience, target personas, customer needs and purchasing process for our SIEM solution.
  • Creating standout, differentiated content to help increase awareness and sales, from top-down messaging to detailed technical marketing materials.
  • Supporting sales and GTM through development of sales tools, training and market expertise to ensure their ability to effectively position and sell our security products.
  • Conducting analysis into market potential, customer usage data, and feature testing.
  • Developing the competitive positioning for the SIEM solution.
  • Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product marketing in the B2B software arena, preferably with a track record successfully marketing security solutions.
  • Preference for background in high growth B2B SaaS with a focus on helping businesses stand out in crowded markets.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive communications.
  • You’re a skilled writer, storyteller and content provider with an ear for new and colorful methods to communicate value to prospects, customers and industry watchers.
  • You’re a self starter who quickly adapts to a rapidly changing environment with a wide range of cross-functional responsibilities. 
  • You’re able to coordinate across numerous projects with aggressive deadlines and perform within a fast-moving organization.
  • You’re willing to pitch in and be a dedicated teammate, open to partnering to meet departmental goals alongside your valued colleagues.
