Logz.io is looking for a Business Applications Specialist that will help us bring our business applications to the next level. This person  will serve as primary operational planner, vendor liaison and advocate for applications that satisfy core business requirements. Coordinate with application stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Customer Success, etc.), understand their needs and risks, define requirements and lead implementation to address those needs. The Business Applications Manager will be reporting to the Director of Business Operations and will be responsible for translating business requirements into operational IT excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new Business Applications and support current applications, like Salesforce.com, Salesloft, Gainsight, CPQ and more.
  • Be a technical leader with hand-on understanding of the applications management.
  • Lead projects end-to-end: full definition and design, development, training, documentation and communicating to stakeholders.
  • Responsibility for evaluating, customizing and implementing solutions for business processes.
  • Document, design and test system implementations using best practices.
  • Provide tactical support for any issues and bugs that are reported on managed applications.
  • Analyze business application licensing and usage to assure and maintain a cost-effective budget.
  • Manage change requests including prioritization, work plans, budget, risk management, etc.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure solutions and applications meet business needs, with a holistic view of current applications and integrations.
  • Drive adoption of Salesforce and other Business Application solutions across the company
  • Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in similar roles
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, process builder, flows and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Experience with CPQ tool management- Advantage
  • Experience implementing business processes in a global SaaS environment
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skill set, to effectively collaborate with various divisions in the organization
  • Proven understanding of data model implications related to core Salesforce functionalities
  • Excellent team player with the highest level of integrity
  • Excellent time management, efficiency, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end
