We are looking for a self-motivated and talented Communications Manager to join our corporate marketing team. In this position, you will be in charge of producing high-quality content that engages customers and builds brand recognition, reporting to the head of corporate marketing. Your main duties will include creating informative content, press releases, articles, media opportunities, and social media posts to share our company’s brand, products, and services.  As an ideal candidate you should be an excellent communicator, well versed in earned media, social media, and communication strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead social media strategy and execution across all channels.
  • Create communication strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions.
  • Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials.
  • Define key performance indicators for each communications channel. 
  • Work with different marketing departments to generate new ideas and strategies.
  • Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready.
  • Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain editorial calendars. 
  • Reach out to influencers, media and beyond, in order to arrange story placements on a national and global level.
  • Research and engage with key media and industry influencers on social media. Create internal communications protocols and initiatives that will foster employee morale.
  • Oversee the creation of communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's brand, including white papers, blogs, website copy, and more.
  • Represent the organization at events and press conferences.
  • Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. 
  • Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful communication campaigns at both a local and national level.
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Proven working experience in public relations required.
  • Agency experience is a plus. 
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or relevant field.
