The Head of Corporate Marketing reports to the CMO and is a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team. This person has direct responsibility for building, communicating and stewarding a positive and strategic perception of Logz.io in the marketplace, and will oversee advertising, awareness, branding, creative services, AR, and PR across owned, earned and paid channels.  This leader will work with other marketing leaders to influence and implement the Logz.io  communication and brand strategy. This leader will define, implement and measure strategic, global corporate marketing initiatives that build awareness and consideration for the brand, and provide air cover for ongoing marketing and sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the corporate marketing and brand strategy resulting in consistent branding, messaging and positioning.
  • Present a relevant and differentiated global brand and ensure consistent stewardship as appropriate in areas of direct and indirect ownership including events, web properties, media and analyst relations, executive speaking opportunities, thought leadership, as well as employee- and community-relations.
  • Oversee the development, implementation and cross-functional utilization of a corporate messaging platform that builds upon and maintains the strategic and favorable image of the company.
  • Manage AR and PR relationships globally and guide relevant topical press coverage for the company and external thought leadership placements for key executives.
  • Partner with global marketing functions, sales, finance, and human resources in order to project consistent corporate messages to internally and externally.
  • Manage the interface with external agencies including PR branding and creative services. 
  • Develop and manage the company's corporate marketing budget
  • Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience.
  • Extensive experience in B2B and technology PR.
  • Track record of success in corporate marketing at a high growth technology company with multiple product lines, regions and distribution channels.
  • Track record of evolving a brand’s position to a new market category that aligns with current market and customer priorities.
  • Critical thinking, strategic acumen and market insight: The skill to synthesize competitive trends, market data and customer /consumer insights into a plan of action. 
  • Agency experience a plus.
  • Employer branding experience a plus.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills; passion for social media.
  • Critical thinker who is flexible and open to change and new informationHighly organized and detail oriented, extremely proactive, excellent follow through.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics, proficiency in Excel.
  • Team-oriented, personable, articulate and comfortable interacting with senior team leadership and multiple departments across the organization.
  • Grasps new information, recognizes own strengths and weaknesses, pursues self-development and seeks feedback.
  • BA/BS in English, Communications, Public Relations, Business or related field.
