It empowers organizations to deliver better software by offering the world's most popular and familiar open source monitoring tools–ELK, Grafana, and Jaeger–in a single, easy to use, and powerful tool purpose-built SaaS service for monitoring high-scale distributed cloud environments.  The Vice President, Corporate & Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to develop opportunities that expand our suite of solutions as well as market reach. In this role you will need to be a visionary, planning for the future growth and scale.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead strategic partnership and corporate development efforts.
  • Build, expand and maintain the relationships and partnerships with Strategic alliances and Technology Partners such as, AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Red Hat, VMware, ServiceNow.
  • Secure executive-level introduction meetings with top executives from targeted technology partners.
  • What We Are Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, business development or similar.
  • Product or technical background is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the DevOps, Developer, or IT industry is strongly preferred.
  • Pre-existing relationship network with leading ISVs and with Silicon Valley companies strongly preferred.
  • High-Level understanding of Cloud Platforms, DevOps tool chains, and Container Technologies.
  • Experience partnering with public cloud providers.
  • Experience building relationships with relevant strategic partnersStrong command of the M&A processes, including strategic evaluation, negotiation, structuring, due diligence and execution.
  • Ability to present, articulate, and defend analysis with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills.
