Logz.io is currently building the most advanced log analytics SaaS platform in the market, based upon popular, cutting edge, open source technologies. Currently we are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to join us and boost the Metrics team forward!

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Golang experience;
  • 5-7+ years of software development experience;
  • Well familiar with modern microservices best practices;
  • Experience with Docker, K8S, telemetry tools;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with technical personnel; 
  • Self-motivated, proactive approach;
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities;
  • True team player;
  • Advanced knowledge of English.

  • Familiar with Java, Kotlin and JVM echo-system;
  • Open Source contributor;
  • Well familiar with observability and especially telemetry solutions (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Cortex, Thanos, VictoriaMetrics, ElasticSearch, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry);
  • Well familiar with distributed high scale systems and databases (Kafka, M3DB, ElasticSearch, Caches...);
  • Experience/Passion with developing and maintaining high throughput SAAS production systems and infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

  • Key player in Logz.io Metrics (Prometheus as a service) team;
  • Architecting and designing code with high throughput and easy horizontal scalability in mind;
  • Developing highly distributed and highly scalable production-grade code;
  • Contributing to open source software development.
