About The Position

This role is an exciting opportunity to drive corporate story-telling through external communications channels including media relations, social media and community engagement.   • Support the development, management and execution of corporate communications plans to drive external awareness of brand, key business priorities and initiatives through earned media, social media, awards, speaking engagements, brand awareness events, and other relevant communications channels.
  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking business placements, features and interviews in print, broadcast, trade and digital media
  • Work with internal stakeholders across the organization to identify compelling stories that align with business objectives and key messages
  • Contribute written content to internal and external communications materials (press releases, social content, media training, etc.); manage corporate press page, ghostwrite and edit blog posts, and work with teams across the organization to ensure message consistency
  • Serve as an internal champion for corporate initiatives, partnering with key stakeholders to drive employee awareness and engagement
  • Secure high-level speaking opportunities; support presentation materials
  • In partnership with Talent Acquisition, support employer branding through external communications channels spanning earned media, social, awards and speaking opportunities; build new channels and initiatives from the ground-up to consistently broaden awareness
  • Oversee community engagement across a variety of channels spanning LinkedIn, Glassdoor and other talent-facing outlets
  • Provide support for government and industry relations; coordinate media attendance at events and facilitate messaging approvals
  • Monitor, analyze, and recap PR results on a monthly and quarterly basis

Technical Skills:

  • Develop industry knowledge
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across teams, closely partnering with multiple stakeholders
  • Media and speaker training
  • Strong judgement, advanced writing, storytelling and presentation skills
  • Strong social media skills, particularly LinkedIn, for a B2B and tech audience
  • Project and budget management
  • Ability to adjust plans and alter course of action based on changing circumstances


  • BA/BS in English, Communications, Public Relations, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Extensive experience in B2B and technology PR
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Employer branding experience a plus
  • Strong writing and presentation skills; passion for social media
  • Critical thinker who is flexible and open to change and new information
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, extremely proactive, excellent follow through
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics, proficiency in Excel
  • Team-oriented, personable, articulate and comfortable interacting with senior team leadership and multiple departments across the organization
  • Grasps new information, recognizes own strengths and weaknesses, pursues self-development and seeks feedback
  • Travel 10-15%
